Mythology

This series is inspired by the concept of transcending duality through the act of surrender, and is a result of studies undertaken in comparative mythology from the writings of Joseph Campbell and Arthur George. By focusing on universal narratives such as the Garden of Eden and the Crucifixion through a secular lens, I seek to illuminate the central role of the goddess in myths of transcendence. Throughout this series a heroine figure appears serenely poised in a multitude of settings often juxtaposed with characters such as bush kangaroos and mythical sea creatures, offering a playful approach to this timeless goddess and her pivotal role in the transformation of consciousness.
